Twenty-five years ago, a young man left home and travelled far away, to a foreign land, to prove himself worthy of his family’s approval. He wanted success and knew that for him to achieve it, it would come at a price. A price that he was more than willing to pay.
He worked hard despite major setbacks. Although he had initially gone to study and master fashion, being a designer at heart, life had taken a turn, and his fashion career never took off. Being a success-driven person, he decided he would make the best of his situation.
He started out as an overnight room service waiter in a 528 room hotel. Before long he was climbing the ranks to room service supervisor, mini-bar attendant supervisor, accounts receivables clerk and finally duty manager. Life was great and it seemed that there was no going wrong.
Success was on its way… that was for sure! It was just a matter of time until he got to the pinnacle of his career; at least those were his thoughts, dreams and aspirations.
All those that met him knew that this young man was a rising star.
One day, he received a letter from his bosses and the news was not good. It began, “We regret to inform you that your services are no longer…”
Have you ever wondered what drives a man, that most would consider a total success, to an almost instant failure? And how does such a man bounce back?
Hi, my name is Hani Al-Qasem, creator of the Boost Your Motivation Audio Programme, a programme that is purposefully designed to help you turn your failures into successes.
I Never Thought I Could Change My Emotions And Transform My Behaviours To Become More Focused, Determined And Committed To Finish What I Started And Achieve My Goals - But I Finally Discovered The Secret! Here's How...
After suffering major setbacks while trying to achieve success, I decided I wanted to find out what was the secret to success. Clearly, despite my best efforts, I wasn’t doing something right, there had to be more to it than I couldn't quite put my finger on. So I set myself a mission to find out what was the missing secret to success.
I wanted to know what made successful people become successful? How do their brains work? What do they think? How do they stay motivated? What makes them take action and what keeps them driven to achieve the outcome they wanted?
In my quest, I discovered how I can effectively retrain my brain to accept new statements quickly and effectively by making use of a process known as accelerated learning. This was an amazing discovery that I have since applied to change the way I think.
I found out how successful people use their emotions instead of having their emotions use them, allowing them to become more empowered to perform at their very best. This insight made me realise that I had always let my emotions use me leaving me angry and frustrated.
I have since altered my point of view and have attempted to always use my emotions to positively shape my life. In truth though, this is one of those habits that remain an ongoing challenge. All the same, right now I feel much more in control of my life!
Another thing that stunned me was how easy it was to get myself to take action anytime and anywhere. This made achieving my goals easy and a whole lot of fun. You might like to know that I achieved one of my goals recently which was to write a book entitled, “Self-Confidence Building in 7 Steps.” I have to admit, that was a big one for me. Yet, I achieved it.
That accomplishment made me dig deeper to find ways to eliminate nagging self-sabotaging beliefs, and to uncover how I would naturally handle any challenges that I come across, even to a point where I would look forward to them.
Life has since become more fun and juicy. I managed to wipe clean the mental patterns that kept me stuck and frustrated for years. I have become what my kids call “Action Man”, the go-getter who wakes up ready to seize the day eager to reach the goals he sets, feeling the thrill of success in the process.
I have learned to cultivate the habit of thinking big, to get big results by developing the beliefs, attitudes and emotional habits that lead to success. AND NOW YOU CAN TOO!
